6 dining chairs likely circa 1920s-30s in a sort of Jacobe-esque style with "Romayne" portrait medallion on each back panel and stout turned legs in quartersawn oak. The chair bottoms are surprisingly sittable, with good spring and charming 1930s gingham covers. Why gingham on revival chairs? For the whimsy probably!
