A beauty of a lamp that might be a bit more Chinoiserie than actual Chinese, but is nevertheless a remarkable beast of a lamp. It has five little urn-shaped chunks of marble that's not the typically expected white, instead a lightish brown tone streaked with a minty green, like caramel apple flavored candy. Each of these little urns, and the other marble accents, are separated and adorned by brass that has some asian-inspired motifs and designs stamped into it. The socket has two light options- a big one and a little one for more low-key and moody lighting, both behind a ruffled linen shade. If you put a UV bulb in one of those sockets, you might see some flecks in the marble fluoresce- not Uranium glass, but still really cool! I couldn't find any kind of maker's mark- and believe me, I checked! But I did find a very similar pair (with a darker marble) that sold for almost $2,000 at an auction here.
