A refined and handsome roll top desk with an unusual low profile and even more unusual espresso stain! It has a maker's mark that reads "British Made Fandson Series" on a few panels, we believe it dates to the 1930s or so. It's made of solid oak and in great shape for 100 years of use, with the only noticeable sign of wear being some slight separation between a couple slats of the roll top - but this could be repaired. It has oodles of storage with a row of drawers down either side, plus a central drawer for stationery and plenty of cubbies on the desktop. It comes with a key and the lock does work, in case you need to keep your work private when untended!
