A vintage spun aluminum canister for your cookies, made in Italy by Heller for their Hostess Ware range. The super simple form is labeled "COOKIES" in repoussé (raised pressed detail) with a ribbon scroll border. The canister shows its age a bit, but certainly has many years of service left in it!
