Jose Luis Campuzano was a 20th century artist from Spain, who's paintings of South American coastal cities and ports were displayed and exhibited all across South America in the 1950s. Eventually settling in New York City, he began to experiment with abstracts, like we see here. This is a Campuzano original abstract on canvas and beautifully framed with a large fabric border and gold trim. This piece shows a stark red background with a harsh black figure in the center with hints of yellow and white. Artist signature on bottom right corner.
