Antique Glass Knobs c.1850s

$ 65.00

A set of glass knobs from the mid to late 1800s. These would have been in mansions, as the wealthy were the only ones who could afford to have glass door knobs back then. The glass has quite a bit of manganese oxide in it (that was used to make glass clear) so it glows a lovely green under UV 365nm light! One of the knobs has some chips on it. This is reflected in the price.
