An LC Smith & Corona no. 8 10in typewriter circa 1925-1936. Though it's as dusty as you'd expect from something with this many crevices, this is a wonderful machine that's in pretty close to working order! In my fiddling, I noticed only 1 or 2 keys that didn't settle instantly, but otherwise it's ready to go! Even comes with a spare ribbon spool. And yes, the Mr. Smith in question /is/ Lyman Cornelius Smith, for whom our beloved Smith Tower is named!
