Vintage Chapman “Fontbonne” Empire Revival Lamp

Vintage empire revival-style "Fontbonne" lamp made around 1972 by Chapman. It stands tall and proud with a unique "font" belly supported by three elegant legs bearing a winged lion at the top and culminating in a petite hairy paw foot. Three pine cone finials add another layer of grandeur, alongside the smooth black finish emulating the marble that would be seen in an empire period antique. The lamp is in great shape, with a fresh switch (delightfully concealed inside the belly finial) installed by our team, and a matte black shade with a mottled gilding effect inside to enhance the glow.
