A shet of shix shimmery shell placemats from the nineteen shixties or sheventies, or for those who don't speak Sean Connery: a beautiful set of MCM cork-backed capiz shell placemats! Most retain their original labels, which identify them as "Genuine Shll-Craft" made in the Phillipines for Kane Kutlery of California. They're in pretty great shape overall, aside from one that has unfortunately cracked on one end - that one is probably better suited to life on a console table or vanity rather than a messy dining table, but the rest are gorgeous and easy to wipe down after a meal!
