This is a well crafted mahogany chest whose box panels are dovetail jointed. Two of the four box panels have ornately carved leafy and floral scenes. Inside the chest, there is plenty of storage space as well as a cheeky compartment with a lid, the lid is missing a dowel that hinges it to the compartment. The top of the chest lid has some stains and wear.
