This schoolhouse fitter and shade came in with an old 2-part socket that the lightshop replaced. The finish is not original to the fixture, as it looks like it was repainted prior to arriving at Second Use. It is hard to place the exact vintage, but schoolhouse fitters using a 2-part socket were made anywhere from 1910-1950 in this way.
