This once flat board with arc to fit around your lap and ruler across the top was once used to cut out sewing patterns (as seen by the "tracks" of the pattern cutter that run across both surfaces. Has a bit of a "wave"/warp to it at this point, but great patina. Fairly light weight, but looks to be made out of two types of hardwood.
