An antique kerosene lamp base with lovely "faceted" waist, fluted stem, and reverse-beaded border on the foot. The base reads "Riverside Clinch on Collar", referring to the brass collar at the font opening. Though once clear, this lamp now has an attractive lavender hue (due to the manganese content in the glass being exposed to UV light for extended periods of time).
