Locally milled and kiln dried. Cottonwood is not a wood you find slabbed very often due to the difficulty of drying it. In fact it is such a high moisture wood that you can't even burn it with out air drying for years. When they are cut down most Cottonwood is just chipped. This would make for an amazing live edge console table top or mantel, with a straight cut on one side and a live edge on the other. The thickness varies from 2 3/4" to 3 1/8", and the width tapers from 13 3/4" to 12 3/8" along its length.
