Ahoy matey, this be a vintage lantern by Perko with ribbed red glass, used for navigation at sea- meant for vessels 60 meters and longer, providing light for three nautical miles. It's in good shape- the glass is practically pristine, save for some grime that'll need to be cleaned up, and the steel construction and grating is well-weathered (but in great condition) from its many voyages at sea. There's a little brass placard on the bottom, but there's some patina that's developed there making much of it hard to make out. It might even be able to be rewired for lighting your own way through that harsh mistress, the sea. Why not get the wiring figure out right here?
