An antique gas lamp by an unknown manufacturer, complete with base and shade. It's made of clear glass with a heavy base to make it more of a trouble for a cat to knock it off the table, with the original brass wick feeder (which still works!) and even with a length of wick left. The base is shaped almost like a goblet, and looks to be free of cracks or scratches, though the oil reservoir could use a quick clean. The glass of the base has a very very slight purplish tint to it, which might mean that it has manganese in it, which will turn more and more purple over time as it's exposed to sunlight.
