An old school craftsman's tool, this is a very well-used and well-loved lead smelter. It's got a hell of a patina to it, and though the maker's mark is still on the front, it's so faded you can only make out the shape of its shield. It's got a little label marking it as No. 88, but no other discernible/readable information about its manufacture, age, or origin.
