Locally milled and kiln dried, this old-growth fir slab has super tight grain. The tree this was milled from grew on the WA peninsula near that Straight of Juan de Fuca and must have been a monster when it was alive... Such a cool piece of Washington, you could build into a number of amazing things for your lodge, house or business! It does have some checks which you may want to stabilize with a few oz of resin, and some tool marks left from the logging process. Would make a show-stopper of a bar top! You have gotta see this piece in person!
