Was milled locally and kiln dried. Was salvaged from the deck of an old ship in Ballard years and years ago. Supposedly it was sections of an old piling salvaged from a port somewhere and then transfered to a ship that was later docked in Ballard. What we do know is that it is a Mahogany but as to what specific variety we don't know.
