This absolutely epic couch was originally made somewhere between 1890 - 1925 and was reupholstered in the 70s. This couch features solid quartersawn oak construction with a brown leather upholstery held on by massive brass upholstery tacks. The back rail features carved acanthus leaf details that lead down to the arm rests, which then lead to scroll arms. Beneath the arms are two breathtaking and highly detailed carved griffins and they really are the star of the show here! All of this sits on four fluted bun style feet. This is a truly one-of-a-kind couch that you will not find anywhere else!
