This is a truly antique rocking horse that is estimated to have been made sometime in the 1860s, give or take. The horse is wooden and painted white with tufts of actual horse hair glued on. The horse is attached to an old coil spring system for the rocking motion. The tail is just a stick of wood. All of this sits on a wooden frame.
