Antique Neoclassical Dresser

$ 125.00

This Neoclassical "commode" dresser, despite its obvious need for a new top, has a commanding and refined presence. Finely detailed inlay paneling with quartersawn oak, ornate bronze pulls, and fluted borders boast the quality of craftsmanship that has allowed it to withstand many decades and a recent attempt to convert it to a vanity (hence the toplessness). This piece is in a great starting point for someone willing to do some final restoration - the vanity top its previous owners used was simply too heavy and caused several of the joints to loosen, but none are cracked or truly damaged as far as I can see! It comes with a bag of the remaining escutcheons and lock mechanisms to be reattached/assembled. If you want help finding a new stone or wood top for this dresser, we have both! Ask a coworker for help.
