Antique Chas. Parker Co. Piano Stool

A fabulous antique piano stool made by the Charles Parker Co. of Connecticut, a significant name in iron & steel production from 1832-1970. This one is a rare style - I couldn't find record of one selling online in the last 10 years! It has a lovely maple seat bordered by a line of brass tacks, supported by charming twisted iron legs and an exquisite cast iron central column. The metal is beautifully patinated and the seat is in good shape with only some light water rings. I'm not sure whether the seat spins to adjust the height - many piano stools do, but if this one has that feature, it may need a little WD-40 to get it going.
