Recently milled and kiln dried from boom logs in the Pacific Northwest region -- those holes you see? Those are the tracks of the notorious teredo clam, which burrow into the submerged boom logs at a young age and spend the entirety of their lives traversing the log, often living in complete solitude and hitching a ride across the world while they're at it. The end result of their adventure is a detailed punctuation that lends a distinctly Northwest feel to the lumber, and will make an excellent accent piece in a variety of settings. Most are Fir but some are Hemlock or Spruce.
