Vintage Utility Sink

$ 45.00

Porcelain coated cast iron utility sink salvaged from the Piper Morely funeral home in South Tacoma, built in 1908!

This sink was made in the USA by "Crane" manufacturing and based on research, could be 60-80 years old but we can't be certain! We also believe these sinks may have been used in the embalming process, but again cannot be certain!

This item carries with it the history of a long standing Tacoma business, as well as the history of a company the played a major role in advancing modern home plumbing. Super cool!

The paint is flaking off to reveal the nice cast iron finish underneath. Could look great after a sanding and oiling.

NOTE: Sink and base has separated and will need to be re-drilled and re-tapped to assemble as bolts have rusted and sheared off. There is quite a bit of rust on the mating surface and will need a good wire wheeling. Priced accordingly.
