An antique bench-mounted grinder/whetstone by the Pike Manufacturing Company out of Littleton, New Hampshire. Specifically, the Pike Peerless Junior No. 8, with Pike Mfg brandingp- the Pike Manufacturing Co merged to become the Norton Pike Company in 1932, meaning that this baby is a centennarian, or less than a decade away from that point. The wheel has probably been replaced with what looks like pumice, but both the hand crank to spin the stone and the clamp to mount it work like a dream.
