316 Stainless Post Cap Hanger

Custom made post or column cap style beam connector/hanger probably fabricated at Bowman Morton Manufacturing & Machine of Seattle (according to a tag or two that's still visible on some of its mates). Guessing it was intended for use in a SALTY environment with pressure treated lumber. Looks like it should mount on a 6x post and saddle a 4x beam.
