Faux? Real?? I have no idea! But it's pretty clean, doesn't stink, and the liner is intact. Cosmetically there are a few scrapes here and there but overall it's holding up extremely well with working latches and an intact handle. Display? Use? Or turn it into a fashionable pet bed??
