Pair of cast aluminum mantel lamps, which would have been screwed down to the top of the mantel and hard wired in. Looks like a 3" to 3 1/4" wide shade would have sat around the bulb socket. As you can see, they'll need a complete restoration (paint job/finish and rewiring. The diecast aluminum bodies are just too ornate and interesting to recycle. SAVE THEM, PLEASE!
