Feast your eyes on this three-piece fashion-show-ready runway. It's ferociously pink, the top is covered in glitter, and there are gold handles on the side for ease of use. It was donated from Pretty Parlor, an esteemed vintage clothing boutique on Capitol Hill. And apparently it was used for shows at Julia's on Broadway, and for tap dance performances at the SAM. Talk about lore! End of the day, we have three boxes made of plywood and 2x4's. It could be used as a long narrow stage, or as the start of another DIY project. But deep down I know in my heart of hearts that there is a home for this runway. Another vintage shop? A school? Or in the home of someone with more style than they know what to do with. Work it.
