A wonderful dining table set with six chairs. Vintage for sure, but we're not sure of the exact era. Mid-Century? The rich dark stain to the mahogany veneer is giving Chippendale, but the base seems very Empire. The chairs have more of a straight-laced look, evocative of the Craftsman style. They feature a "double x" back, and lavish blue upholstery in good condition despite one egregious stain. Daddy's chair has arm rests. Includes six leaves to make a substantial dinner party surface, and pads for keeping it pristine. And the legs appear to nest together when unexpanded, which is just cool. Over 10" long with the leaves! The ends folds down for easy leaf installation!
