O Tannenbaum! This is a real gem! German goose feather Christmas trees were a staple in late 1800s Germany, and became a sensation in America in the 1920s. They quickly fell out of fashion but not in our eyes! They are a beautiful addition to any decorators collection as they are few and far between. This one is in pretty good shape with some of the feathers losing their color. Not sure if its real goose feather but could also be turkey or swan. It comes atop a green painted block and sweet little berry beads at the end of the branches. Very rare and authentic this is a divine piece of history that anyone would love in their home!
