This commercial maple butcher block with 6" tall backsplash was said to be used at a Safeway meat department for many years. It looks like someone took it home and used it for a workbench as it now has some glue residue on the top. I think it would clean up nicely with a plane and sander. Doesn't look to have any structural damage, splitting, joint separation, etc. There's plenty of thickness left. Made by ATCO.
