We've pitched you on using toilets, sinks & bathtubs as garden planters, but today is a new day filled with new potential. This vintage wooden head and footboard are missing their side rails and look a little tired, but that doesn't mean they have no worth in the salvage world. I invite you to lean into a little creative absurdity and repurpose these as the corner posts and part of the frame for your next raised garden bed. Paint them a fun color (or many fun colors!), add some flowers, make the finials look like acorns, throw some cedar slats along the sides, load 'em up with dirt and snuggle those fall veggie starts in to the coziest new bed this side of the Mississippi.
