This piece is really beautiful but we don't know what it is! It's some flavor of tropical hardwood; very dense and heavier than it looks, with a really cool grain pattern and hand hewn on one side. There is some curvature along its length. The thickness has a lot of variation along its length but is mostly between 1" and 3".
