Double-Ended Hand Cart
$ 145.00
An interesting double-ended hand cart from the historic Foss Tugboat Shipyard in Queen Anne. The wood body has a deep central cavity (33"W x 21"D x 14.5"H) flanked by two shallow compartments (30"W x 22.5"D x 3.5"H). Each side has two steel handles and three steel legs that attach to a wooden foot. In the center, there are two 15.5" inflatable wheels. The overall design is actually pretty clever. When loaded correctly, the majority of the load is carried over the fulcrum, giving you longest possible lever given the cart's ambidextrous design, and minimizing the amount of effort required to lift the load. Seems like a well thought out design and looks solidly built. That saaaiiiid, it's only a few quick modifications away from becoming an iconic box planter.
