Vintage Two-Man Felling Saw
$ 135.00
5 1/2' Lance tooth crosscut saw. This vintage two-man saw is an iconic member of the logging industry's arsenal of tools. Known colloquially as 'Misery Whips', at the height of their age these saw action in forests across the PNW and are fascinating artifacts from our local history. The shape of the blade makes us think it was probably used for felling trees, as the curved back of the blade allowed wedges to be inserted into the cut to prevent pinching. Only has one of the handles still attached, but this would make a fantastic piece of wall art for your cabin, bar or storefront!
