The Northwest Eco Building Guild is hosting its annual Green Home Tour April 27 where visitors can visit residential homes all over Seattle and in some suburbs that have taken extra care to be environmentally conscious. The tour goes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can also check out the tour’s “sustainability stops.” Second Use will be one such stop, where visitors can grab refreshments, go on store tours, and see photos from our Salvage Project Showcase.
What is the Salvage Project Showcase? In conjunction with Decon ’13 and the Green Homes Tour, Second Use will display photos of the work of Seattle-area professionals who are using salvage in an impactful way. The display boards will be available for viewing for several weeks, starting April 27, with the Green Homes Tour.
