This antique fir cabinet was originally made to house multiple window treatments as a wall mount retail display. This would have been mounted upside down and the little slates have a latch to keep them in place. Inside the cabinet you'll find the hardware that formerly held retractable window covers on a rod. A prospective buyer would release the slat latch and pull down the window treatment for viewing.

This cutie is missing the door that originally covered up the retractable rods but the last owners said they used as a wall mount bookshelf and we think that's pretty neat.
