Either antique or nearly antique, this is a Bausch & Lomb Model C Balopticon slide projector, one of the first of its kind to be produced for the unwashed masses instead of the hoity-toity rich folk (though this probably did cost a small fortune back in the day). It's in remarkable shape for its age (we tested it in house, and that bulb certainly did appear to function), and comes with a steel carrying case (which has seen some better days, unfortunately), a spare bulb, and one slide- a glass plate positive of the Taj Mahal.
