Well made clear finished maple, Shaker style island with a pullout basket and adjustable shelf (never had a door) on the left side. All sides are finished. Both cabinet boxes are plywood. The open slide out on the left is 20 1/8" wide at the face and could be removed if you wanted to take the isliand apart. Finish is starting to wear just a little. Price reflects.
