A lot of care very clearly went into the construction of this vintage fir chest. Varying light and dark strips precisely alternate from the feet all the way to the center of the lid, the corners are sturdily joined and reinforced by brass finished steel brackets, the bottom has tiered embellishment in lieu of a simple, straight line and the handles are just gorgeous. Did I mention this comes with a key? Couldn't get much better! Leave it as is with an aged patina or take it on as an incredibly gratifying refinishing project. #RoyalHunter
