Painted single panel door that might be home made or shaved down from a bigger door, but it's a hair thinner than the typical interior door (1 3/8" thick). Hinges were screwed to face of the edge, not cut in. There's a bit of a split near the top hinge, but it doesn't seem like a deal breaker. Price reflects.
