Update on the bulb--I wired this light up. Plugged it in. The bulb stayed lit for about 15 seconds and went out. Here's the kicker. I've worked here 26 years and never seen a bulb like this, and I don't even know how to get the bulb out. It's an 18" long cylinder, but not fluorescent. Seemed filament. Price now assumes you'll need to rewire to a standard bulb socket or find a seriously "needle in the haystack" variety of bulb and then how to change it. With a brass frame, smokey acrylic panels, and brass accent plates, this mid-century pendant light offers both a sexy look and high quality, custom built flavor. The wiring looks decent, but it does currently require a pretty specialized bulb so you may just want to rewire it for something a little less specific.
