While we see so many amazing and inspiring customer project submissions, we get especially excited when we see something as large-scale as this. Charlene and her husband recently completed a renovation in an Issaquah home. The theme was “eclectic green”, which extends well beyond the green hues blending throughout the the home. With over 75% of the materials used coming from Second Use Seattle, this remodel is about as green as you can get.
A list Charlene sent us of materials from Second Use include :
– floor and wall tile in kitchens, bathrooms, and sleeping nooks– doors and trim– cabinets and built-ins in laundry, bathroom, and living room– faucets, granite counters and sinks in kitchen and bathrooms, stainless steel counter and sink in laundry– light fixtures, stain glass, wall mirrors, chandeliers– fire place– upstairs kitchen table (refinished by her husband)– large clothing armoires in master bedroom– dishwasher, Dacor double wall oven, Viking fridge– and more!
Thanks for your submission and for being such a dedicated salvager, Charlene! Have you incorporated salvaged material into your latest remodel? Send us photos and a description to [email protected] to be featured in our Customer Project Gallery!
