First designed in 1958 by renowned French industrial designer Serge Mouille, this spectacular modernist chandelier is an icon of midcentury originality. Echoes of the timeless look of articulated work lights find harmony with the lively spirit of the space age in its rotating arms that seem to stretch near to the horizon, capped with elegantly curved ovoid shades. This one was probably manufactured circa 2015-2020 - though you can be confident in its faithfulness to Mouille's originals, as production is still carried out by his firm. List price on a newly-made piece is just under $7000.
