Locally milled and air dried 15+ years. This slab has an insane amount of figure and spalting. Suprisingly firm for the amount of spalting. This slab was locally milled from an heirloom Maple tree that grew on the grounds of Foster Golf Links in Tukwila. Has cured in dry storage for over a decade. The tree had been storm damaged too many times over the years and had to be taken down. The whole tree was incredibly figured and developed some crazy spalting. At the time it was the oldest Maple in Tukwila.
