This is a rare find! The shades, chains, and socket holders are originally from 1936 F.W. Wakefield Brass Company (more information here on page 10/43). The shade is made from molded plastic, which was a new technology at the time. The link above includes more on the topic.

Along with rewiring, our lightshop added a short stem and canopy, includes 2" of stem length adjustment (overall height 18"-20"), so this fixture can hang in shorter spaces.
