A rare example of a Hollywood Regency lamp that's not absurdly large - but the real special feature here is the gilded finish that still glows with as much warmth as it would've 50+ years ago! I'd bet it was made in Italy in the 1950s or 60s. Though a relatively simple form for the era, it doesn't lack for glitz, with a crystal pendalogue dripping from the end of each leaf that delicately curves away from the lamp's column. A stunning hand cut crystal base and ornate brass fittings complete the regal look! The red silk shade is probably not the original mate to the lamp, but it makes a charmingly gaudy combo for now! It switched on when I tested it out, so all it needs is a gentle dusting and then you're good to go.
