Wood Trunk w/ Casters Added

$ 50.00

Update from photos--the top door has now been completely removed. It is no longer attached, which is why there's a big price drop. The wood body and arch top of this trunk are in good condition. Painted "1823", which seems unlikely to be the age, but possible. You be the judge. Has a big, homemade brass key for the lock that does look like it could be 200 years old. The outside and metal straps have been repainted if it is old. Has some midcentury looking "ball" casters on the bottom. Both hinges are broken, though they stay in place as long as the door doesn't open too far. Could be remedied by adding a couple chains to stop the door from opening all the way.
